re: upgardes

We only discovered this site last week, as of yet we have not sold helmet into the RIBLEISURE MARKET in the UK.
All our sales have been outside the UK- miltiary and commercial users.
I spoke to a few people regarding this site and they said that is it best to get a reaction to our helmet before we get a subscription because there is no point in subscribing if you get no sales.
Hence the reason why I set john kennett a helmet to try because so everyone has said until they get a trail report on here no one will buy from here.
This is also we reason why we were looking to pop across to the RIB RAID in pwhelli because we would like a reaction to our helmet and also a range of communications of ear defender we can fit to ur helmet.

Just for the record, Colin knows the score about trade membership.

I warned him that he would probably be "encouraged" by other members to sign up, but I agreed that as the RIB market is a new venture for him I had no problem with him testing the waters here first. After all, I started this thread because it looked like it might be something interesting.

If people like his kit enough to buy it, then I'm sure he'll do the decent thing. On the other hand if he gets nothing out of posting here, there's nothing lost either way.

I spoke to Colin on the phone today, and he's definitely planning to bring some helmets to the Pwhelli RIB Raid for people to try. If you're interested can you let him know (either here, or by email/PM) so he has some idea of numbers.

He's also up for joining us for the cruise if anyone can offer him a place on their boat. Can't beat getting some first hand product knowledge!

John

Colin

thanks for the call and good to speak with you, you are most welcome on our boat and hopefully a few others will take you on theirs as well so you can try out a few boats but also to test the comms package with others radios. I think the comms package linked to a radio and perhaps stereo will be a major plus for many ribbers

see you on saturday

Colin,

I'd certinly be interested in trying/buying some of your kit. You're welcome to spend some of the weekend on our boat, but it's standing room only being a dive boat. I'm assuming that at least one of each size will be availiable?

They're adjustable from 52-62cm, so most people should be OK!

If they are one size fits all i'll probably want more than 1!

(Yes, i know that sounds a bit counter-intuative...)
