Just thought I'd nip in ahead of Willk!

Good man yerself Eugene!

I had a wee walk around her during construction. She's quite the rib. The access to the main cabin is now central from the Flybridge and the berths are more streamlined. The heads compartment is a single moulding, so much tidier.

Have you got the gig bringing her to Southhampton?

She'll need a steady hand that won't overrev her during the cruical running in period.

Just read the Corryvreckan log of the trip to Cowes. Boy am I jealous! Charles Stewart does a good job on the RYA courses. He was very welcoming and patient with me, my son and daughter as we did the Powerboat 2 in his lovely Redbay rib a few years ago. Couldn't believe that he would trust me with that! Sounds like a really good trip and shows just waht a Redbay can do.

I think I'll extend the white shed Wilik and see if I could get a Redbay in there!

I should be out around Bunniniver, Magheraroarty direction this weekend if you are about Wilik.

They frisk me when I leave the factory floor, for stuff like stainless fittings, copper wire and adhesive...

I think it'll be Charles again

You're Old Fashioned.

That, is the only RIB that currently can be licensed to CAT 5 in the Republic of Ireland.

That, is one Bad Puppy. It flips the Bird to Targas

Massive and obvious design flaw. No frosted glass in the potty

"Flips the bird to targas." Is that in the same way a Subaru driver flips the bird to an Audi rs4? Ie he is still actually jealous he can't afford build quality and comfort with speed/handling.

I presume it's cheaper? If not...

V nice boat though for what it is.

Whats the indicative cost. GBP 200k? How does that compare with a Targa 33? I suspect the Targa will have similar seakeeping* and better accomodation. Don't get me wrong, I like the look of it, but should my lottery numbers come up, I'm not certain I'd choose one over a Targa or similar.

* For 90% of the potential sea states that it might operate in. The Redbay might have the edge in the remaining 10.

Whilst I do like Redbays I'm not that keen on the Flybridge model. Now the new Corryvrekan...well

You have gotta be nuts, an ugly, un impresive rib / cabin cruiser or a Targa 33 for the same money, let me think about that for a nano second, o yeah, Targa, Targa, Targa, all day (and night) long.
AND it stops becoming a RIB the minute you put a cabin on it.

Agree, targa all day, night and even a weekend of comfort.

Stops being a rib when the tubes don't touch the water, as there is no longer any inherent stability over a normal boat at rest. you just have a long inflated fender, and some are so small they'd make no difference in rough weather.

There is also the new Paragon 31 that appears to provide just about the same performance in terms of speed but with only a single engine. I imagine that the weight savings of only one engine will make it quite good in the fuel consumption side too.
