humber used to do (a long while ago!) ribs with a cuddy that sat on the tubes and was fixed by slotting into a receiver on the bow, velcro on the tubes and ratchet strap things inside. Falklands Conservation had a little 5m one when we went out there to do training for them. Strange watching it sorta move out of sync with the boat but very effective in keeping that cold wind out.
Dont know if they still have the moulds or the time/will to do one though.

FC have still got it, Dave the local diver also has a similar thing on his Humber, some photos on his website here http://www.falklands-underwater.com/ not very big but enough to show the idea. Ugly fkn thing but I guess better than being out in the breeze!
