According to the Avon rep here they have not been informed of any new rib coming out.... perhaps reason they havenīt been informed they only sold one rover (white water raft) this year....

The 580 is replacing the 560, I saw a picture of the new 580 in a new catalogue one of the dealers had, very similar deck but I am sure he said that there is a new point on the internal side of the rib where all the cables will be routed and explained that he would have to redesign his A-frames.

The 620 will still be available for now, but this should be replaced during the year with something along the lines of 6.8 metres or up to 7m+.

If anyone else has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Freddie

I far as I remember the one being launched at the London boat show will have a deeper V (580 i think).
I was after a bigger boat and was told there are plans for a 6.8 (ish) much later in the year, again with a deeper V than the current range.

re avon

i was told at SBS that they would be launching a 5 meter boat at the London BS so maybe this 5.8 and 6.8 is to re arrange there range with steady jumps ?

The new 580 and the new 600 DB Bombard have the same hull.

You can see the 600db here:

I saw it today. Very nice! But might have to reposition the rollers on the trailer to accommodate the new chines
