Hi Bruce

I noticed that you said in your earlier post you are not too keen on the Northcrafts that you have seen. May I ask why? I am seriously considering buying a Northcraft and would value your opinion.

Anyone else got any comments on Northcraft RIBs?

Thanks.

I just didn't like the way the one I drove handled, it may just be that model and it was years ago. The Osprey the club had also may just be that model but its slow speed stability was woeful.
Most of the RIBs I have used have been dive ribs though and the useage is slightly different than as a touring/playboat.

How do you find rough water handling with the 5.85? and what sort of cruising and flat out speed do you get with two up and 50-70l fuel on board?
Ask me in a month or so, when i'll get the new one with 180l inboard tank.
