Never thought about it before,

but are there portable toilets for ribs? I suppose so, like campers, but you'd have to be a bit of exhibitionist, I presume.

Mine's called a bucket.

I'm not sure how robust many of the 'porta potti' type toilets are. OK for motorhomes and small sailing boats, but wonder how they'd cope with the pounding they'd receive in a RIB... Oh, the thought of it.

Not a bad idea.

You could also use it as a helmet if it rains

Took the one in my boat out (plumbed in job) on the basis that I am never really more than 10 mins from a real bog , and it took up room that I can best use in other ways.

Its in the garage if you want it

We tested a rib at Ribex that had a toilet built into the console area, where the suicide seat normally goes.

This is an interesting product, that may be of some use as well:

Someone was doing an inflatable toilet tent with toilet inside - designed to be used in the back of people carriers etc but would work on a RIB I suppose.

Is this for the solid stuff or just a piss hardener?

If it's only a matter of #1, I'll just go over the transom - shouldn't raise the sea level too drastically.
