need console installation advice

I've just bought a new old stock chinese 470 rib from a bankruptcy with a console, a single seat and a double seat. The console and seats are not attached to the hull and the hull has no openings ( holes) in it.

To install the seats and the console I intend to install an access port - fairly large 8" or more, so I can reach inside , drill the holes for bolts and bolt the console and seats to the floor with stainless steel bolts and large washers.

I also intent to glue the console and seats with 3M 5200.

Does this sound like a reasonable method. I'm going to put the console about 1/3 of the distance from the transom - does this sound OK - it looks OK to me.

Also, I'd like to strap the gas tank down once I get a motor - can anyone recommend a vendor or a tank that can be strapped down.

I have no instructions and the manufacturer is of no use.

Thank you in advance for your help

Got any pics of it?

What's the hull made of? Is it GRP and do you know what's under the deck?

pics and hull

I don't have a pic but will try to get one on the weekend and post it. My best guess is that it's a double fibreglass hull - sounds hollow

It might be worth sticking a small USB camera up the drain bung to check if you can actually access where you need to before cuttng big holes.
