Hello Paul,

Okay here goes,

I strongly suspect I have bought a new Humber Destroyer from the same dealer, but that is what it is NEW.

It has never been sea trialled and has absolutely no marks on the hull. I bought it as a self build project and the seating and the console has been supplied by the same dealer. I have to say that whatever I have requested additional, including on many occasions just advice (priceless, if you have never built one before) that nothing has been too much trouble. I am also well aware of the dealers pricing structure having gone into this in great detail in comparison with buying direct from Humber, (I visited the Humber manufacturers in Hull, and believe me it would have cost me a lot more to buy direct) and I am sure that you will have paid a fair price for what appears to be a demo boat.

The very same dealer allowed me a number of sea trials on different craft, and also offered a discounted price on numerous occasions for different demo boats, but I chose to buy NEW (never been on water).

The dealer in question is passing on his discounts to offer affordable boats to the likes of you and I, wether they are new, second hand or demo boats.

Cheers,

One satisfied customer,

Tony

Ive allways credited this rib builder for his total commitment in the inspection of goods before being handed over to the customer, and it is this atention to detail which has prompted me to buy several ribs of them, as i understand they all get the same treatment.

stop whinging, it was inspected by quality control and found to be a "bargain"
as david dickinson would say."bargain"
