I'm all for nautical items in the house, but there's a danger in can turn into a set from Pirates of the Caribbean! Simple things like driftwood or Japanese glass floats (get washed up in BC) are the business.

Some amazing interiors here: http://www.houzz.com/Boat-Inspired-Ceiling

Too much?

I have a lot of nautical tat lying around the house - brass bits, shells, telescopes, flotsam, donegaldan...

I really must get these cleaned up and on a wall (does anyone here know exactly what they are/were for 'cos I don't!)

I've got some quite nice brass shell heads as door stops.
I think I've removed all the combustibles
