Just one for me please. Unfortunately the rather weak proposal to Nicky that I'd pay for her if she drove didn't go down too well! She advised me to spend it on trains and taxis instead (amongst some briefer suggestions).

There certainly was a brill response Dave but it will be no problem fitting a few more peeps in! Especially as one or two Solenteers are still finalising arrangements for that date. It's still two months away! (How's the Chancellor fixed btw?)

At the November Meet it is suggested that
a) the permanent and unique Andy Hightower-designed 'Nasher's Trophy for the biggest 'muck-up' by a Ribster this year needs to be returned by the brave trio who sharpened a prop in Ryde last year!

b) other awards should be decided as well as final plans for the 'do'!

So if there are a few others out there considering coming along to join in the festivities please post or pm! Looking like a top group of peeps so should be a great night!

note to self: add Boatcare to the list.

If the chancellor isn't too late, the chancellor would love it, and has shuffled things such that he can make it! You will be getting a slightly post birthday chancellor on Monday night, complete with deposit.

(Melon, Turkey, and Crimbo Pud if I am not too late!)

Done and dusted thanks both

It was suggested at the Church that we meet to finalise who should receive the prestigious Nasher Award for the biggest maritime 'muck'-up of the year (designed by Andy Hightower). Please do not hesitate to pm suggestions!

There is also the very special Pete 7 Award!!! and the Sir Mark Halliday Awardfor the most notorious RIBnet thread of the year!

Other suggestions welcome!

Date for this extraordinary meeting? Saturday 2nd December - Port Solent; venue tbc.
