Name Decals

Can anyone recommend a website, or otherwise, where I can get some decals made up with my boat name?

I think I will be sticking them on the console or transom rather than on the tubes.

Guys - are you talking about decals to be applied to the tubes or are these only vinyl sticky labels for hard (e.g. grp) surfaces

TIA

Andrew

I used http://www.funkymonkeyboatnames.co.uk/ for vinyl decals for hard surfaces but I believe they do stencils/paint for tubes too.

The vinyl decals are quite straight forward to apply, you get full instructions and a small squeegee thing to smooth out the decals with.

I think you can also apply these vinyl stcikers to tubes as well.

Why not email them to check?

Thanks Chris

Just had a chat with them and they've got two sorts of vinyl stickers. One for hard surfaces and another more flexible one for bonding directly to the sponsons.

Now all I've got to do is decide on a font

Cheers

Andrew

hi, sorry if any name decal companies are reading this but I just got my boat name made up by printing the name in a desired typeface & getting my local signmaker to make the decal up. He scanned it in & printed out the decals on self adhesive 3M paper, no squeegee needed.

I have to fess up I used a decal company´s website to try different typefaces, chose one, well my partner did of course, printed it & the local sign shop made it for me.

Total cost 20e for 1 x 150 mm high plus 2 small ones which I can´t decide whether to put on my scooter or not!

Been using 303 spray all day to clean my car, scooter & boat & it really is as good as people say. Hands are as shiny as the boat now.
