My RYA college course

I have one week left on my RYA day skipper course (its been 26 odd weeks) - got my final exam on tuesday night - I was wondering if anyone knew any good sites that show

* "lights and shape symbols" used for day and night navigation

* anything on collision regulations at sea,

* and general bouyage etc please

- any suggestions would be greatly appreciated -

Just dont want to balls it up at this last stage
Thanks people

yep

from memory the right hand column is the european version where applicable on the relevent pages.

Shouldn't we know everthing just in case we turn right at lands end in stead of left. You can never be too prepared so I'm told

Olly,

If you've done some of the past papers for Day Skipper you will be fine. The little RYA book has the critiical stuff for buoyage/lights etc

Did mine a couple of weeks ago and everyone on our course got through.

There should also be an opportunity to redo any problem areas, as long as the instructor is satisfied that you undertand the essential principles.

Don't forget you can have your 5011 to hand during the test. If you get stuck a bit of lateral thinking will give you the info you need.

Good luck.

Mike

The RYA site looks very good.
I picked up rulesmaster pro at the boat show a couple of years ago and found that very useful, also you do not need to be online to use it.
