If i were you i'd have the plotter above the wheel where the driver can see it.

Theyre seems to be lote of consoles laid out with a "navigator" role but what when your on your own or the person in the passenger seat can't use the kit or you may not quite trust them?

imo

Biggles, these are the new 'Toumer' seating style, which I preferred. They still do the standard D curved seats as well. The Toumer cushions are slightly lower than the others so I had the base seats units made slightly higher to get a better view over the front console.

I went through months of debate and thoughts on where to place Plotter. I ended up on Passenger side, because, IMHO the driver should be heads out looking for reefs, rocks etc. I will always have passengers on board and, if going somewhere unfamilair, I will simply plot a course. They only have to follow the line.

As you can see from the pircture though, it is not completely to the left, but near the throttle, so can still be seen by the driver for the occasional glance.

I generated a thread on this a few months ago (not wishing to start this one off again ). All the various options have some advantages and disadvatages; personal choice I guess at the end of the day.
