I've a Ribcraft 5.3 with a (155kg) Suzuki DF90 on the back...it's gets trailered with the engine fully up and straight ahead. No blocks of wood, no transom saver, no straps, ropes, string or elastic bands. Just as Ribcraft told me to do.

It's still hanging on there
