What weight are you limited to ?

If you can take it the Tohatsu 90hp 2-stroke injection or the e-tec would be great.

Hi Matt - Think the boat you saw was mine, picked it up on Saturday. Massively pleased with it, top quality finish and perfect size for what I wanted.

Spent 3hrs out of Lyme on Sat, running engine in so took it easy seems very responsive, boat handled the chop really well.

Really chuffed with mine, am sure you have made the right choice!

Heres a pic.

Not sure where to leave the engine when towing. Are transom savers meant to be worthwhile?

Cheers.

It'll be a pain lifting it on and off every time, I'd leave it on if I were you. Would take a couple of people to lift it into the boot as well!

Matt/Maximus - Would definately go out for a run. Not going to get to go out again for a few weeks but end of september should be around. let me know.

Any ideas on the transom saver or is wedging a block of wood between engine and transom any benefit? Used to lift my 25hp mariner into boot of car to save the transom on my quicksilver 380hd but the suzuki is a different matter!

i dont bother, what i do is lock it down on the tilt lock , i then (with a small ratchet strap) hook one end on the transom u bolt, wrap once around middle of engine leg (metal section of gear box )and hook other end of strap to the other u bolt, of course with the engine full lock to left or right and tighten a little.

basically so the engine doesnt swing left or right and its pulled down onto the tilt lock!!

did you specifly where you wanted the consol??
