Yep really happy, thanks. Still lots of work to do, the back rests should be ready by next week. That whole pod looked too big and out of place at first but now with the console and the seats in place it looks OK.. A little unconventional but we will see how it works out!

I'd be a little worried about the torsional movement of one large seat with a number of heavy blokes in a rough sea...

As a first;it's the first rib i've seen with a lockable 'keep'for ski's.

Weight and performance

Hi, do you know how it performs yet with the correct prop - weight, speed, rpm etc?

Not yet, been too busy with work and finishing the build, plus the weather has not been great for it! I have a few quieter weeks coming up so will get on with it and let you know..

Still not had the chance to get it on the water, but I did weigh her today.

She was 600kg, with 30/40 liters of petrol in the tank, so around 560/570 kg dry. I was hoping for around 540kg but since the start I have added the stern posts and the forward bow locker to make the boat easier to use..

Pretty happy, will get her out in the next week or so..

Isn't it strictly classed a home build so needs to have been in use for 5 years before it can be legally sold?

Unless it's been through the CE process, in which case he needs a commercial membership!
