It involved bowlines, round turns and two half hitches, and even a rolling hitch, and lots of them.

Didn't manage to get a double sheet bend in there, all my bits of string were long enough without joining any

+1 3 ratchet straps cut to correct length, takes 5 mins and boat is secure to the trailer, and jsut as quick next time you launch

= 1 fro 2 x rear ratchet straps, from transom eyes to trailer, and 1 from front bow eye to trailer + safety chain to snubber post, all cut to length makes securing boat a simple /safe task

Thats exactly how I tie mine to the trailer, however you must remember to check webbing regularly, as it can fray and get weak quite quickly.

No it's a Rollercoaster Swing Mini. I purchased it brand new from Trailer Guy. If anyone needs a new trailer give him a call

If you want an old trailer I have one that fits a 4m rib with new winch, new jockey wheel, and good bearings (longest trip on that trailer last year was Largs to Southampton). It will be going up for sale next week.

New gelcoat, new trailer and a new engine to be fitted too in the near future, I understand?

You, Chris Caton, Colcreate, myself and anyone else out there with a shiny refurbished SR (Anchor Handler?) will have to get together for an SR porn session this summer - perhaps with the MacRib winner?

Bring it on
