There are sails and masts - they look in good nick. No idea what she was painted in - I think it was built about 25 years ago so chances are it was some proper paint - not modern crap.

Never been in the water and always under cover so no rot or anything else.

A couple of five tonne ratchet straps and a trolley jack will get the job done nicely. The trolley jack under the planning pad takes the majority of the weight.

the boat is stunning - just needs a bit of revarnishing in places. it's never been on the water - was built by a technical college as a project and never been outside!!!

I would keep it but I need the room - unless I work out a way to hang it from the ceiling - the beams are huge steel girders!!!
We've got a GP14 which is in tidy nick. I was going to let the boys go off camping in it next year. What are they worth?

Mollers, I had to give away a scout GP14 just to get it gone - it was in good condition with decent spars and a sound hull, not perfect though.

Still have an Albacore if anyone wants it...

That's good. I was afraid I was gonna let the boys loose with something of value. My other concern is that they'll flip it with a decent 6hp Johnson on a bracket on there. Mind you, my Old Man's boat suffered some trauma in my hands when I was their age.

I have a simple solution. Trial and error based. Keep giving them a bigger engine until they do flip it, then when it's wrecked and you both need a replacement boat, and have knowledge of where the hp limit lies, come to Ringwood and take the Albacore off my hands!
