Motorcycle jacket and trousers at Aldi.

I've got a dry suit which I only really wear when I have too, and have been thinking of purchasing a two piece suit which are not as restrictive as a one piece for a while now, but have found them too expensive, so after speaking to Neil Mccrirrick at the easter cruise who wears a motorcycle rain suit, he advised me to go and have a look at Aldi so I did, and found these and bought them. What I like about the trousers are the knee pads fitted inside them which will give me some protection from banging on the sides of the jockey consule in the rough which I nearly always do and end up with bruised sore knees for a fortnight or so, "but most of all I like the price."

Does anyone else use motorcycle gear on there ribs ?? Here's the link. http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers...uys3_13443.htm

I find they are rather bulky..

I use a couple of these

When not in use they pack up into their own small bag a store away.

I took out the inner jacket and back protector and elbow pads which has eliminated the bulkiness considerably, also they are breathable unlike the one on the link.

A bit more pricey, but I like the Fishing Floatation jackets and trousers. Obviously they are warm and not suited to a summers rainy cruise, but I guess that's where pack a macs come in handy.

You can't get that offer in Fareham. Seems to be store specific.

Not sure if the quality is as good as the rain suits in your links seabay and Neil, but Aldi's price looks good for a spare.

Hi Andy,

Store specific... Available in Poole, not my area either..

TK max had some branded gear in recently, bit higher priced though.
