i think pete7 boat was the best we all followed in his wake as he parted the waves like god

The only choppy bit i remember was going across Cowshot spit and around the back of the Noodles, where i seem to recall i took on a passanger

Phil Davies and myself were out at the Thames Estuary Sea forts in a 6-7 last year, the swell was so high it was touching the bottom of the towers it scared the absolute shit out of us but the boats managed it admirably, Avon do know how to build a boat, mine's now nearly 15 years old and still going strong.

I would guess fitting toobs to a Phantom would enable it to go out in anything rougher than a Force 1..
