What is the most important bit of kit you take with you other than key's , Kill chord and Life jacket.

If you are talking loose items carried with you I would have to say drink plenty to drink.

most important non essential is the camera - you never know what your going to see out there...

Tim, I think charts of some kind (gps/backup gps/charts) as I'd be lost without them .
