hey thanks for the Aldi link.

I just bought a couple of telescopic boat hooks from Lidl, 8e each here in Spain. Cut the handle off & put a paddle on (courtesy of Decathlon) & I now have 2 two in 1 paddle boat hooks, doesn´t look like it came off Blue Peter either.

The fishing stuff at Lidl looked good, whole boat rod, reel & line was 25e.

When Aldi did whole vac packed lobster for 8e or so a famous local restaurant bought the whole lot, probably still selling them on for 40e or so!

Off to check out the dry bags at dinner time, I reckon the marine bins will be gone by then but you never know.
