Ever eat in an Indian? If so ask them for their Mango Chutney containers - they are usually 25L drums wih screw top lids - great for kit storage.

Mango chutney is like concrete to clean off though, you'd have to soak it in acid first

Fair comment, but we generally charge retail but fit it for free when we build the boat - some people are handy, and if they would prefer to buy the stuff boxed I'll give them a discount!

Not so - it comes as a solid to which they blitz and add water, quick rinse and they're good to go

Here's another one:
If you need extended battery cables, pop down your local welding supplies outlet for some heavy gauge cable. It's very flexible and well insulated and about 2/3 the price of starter cable from a motor factors.

Oh, and before anyone asks, no, it's not tinned.

And another one:

If you want a pretty looking LED all round white nav light and don't fancy indulging in a lopolight, buy yourself an LED bayonet bulb on ebay for a couple of quid and fit it in place of the original bulb in your existing light.

If you english guys don't want to be beten by the Welsh again this year perhaps you could come up with some ideas.

No need to motivate the Scots and the Irish to beat the english surely?
