Moelfre lifeboat station rebuild

Hi All,
First apologies if this has been posted in the wrong section and apologies if most of you already know this. The historic Anglesey lifeboat station has been demolished and another is being built in the same spot. This station in the past has been home to many heroic famous rescues.
RNLI have appealed for donations to raise £100,000 to build a new onsite workshop.
Last month a £100,000 appeal was launched to fund a mechanic’s workshop in the new boathouse.
Text RNLI MOELFRE to 70300 to donate £5 to the appeal. For a fundraising pack call Deborah Ferns on 0790 0607213 or email deborah_ferns@rnli.org.u k.
Worth a donation if you ask me

Almost feels "wrong"* that the Round Anglesey Cruise is raising money for Macmillan. Don't get me wrong Macmillan do great work and as Cancer Charities go they do seem to have a very good approach... ...just looks like this could have been an ideal opportunity to capture an audience who would clearly have the activities of the RNLI at heart...

*thats not the right word but I can't find the right word.

Must have a long bloody arm to reach the buckets from where you are on your rib

HP, how about a RIBnet Meolfre Lifeboat Day calendar, and donate the profits to the Moelfre Lifeboat

maybe could do similar for the Anglesey cruise and donate to MacMillan
