Mobile Tube Repair

Tried to inflate the rear starboard tube tonight on my Ballistic which had been soft for ages and within a minute it was softer than when I had started, tried again and a pal noticed bubbles at the stern so had a look and it looks like the join where the tapered part joins onto the cone has come adrift, you can get a finger in the gap and there is also about a 300mm section of the rubbing strake coming loose, I do not want to try a repair myself and need recomendations for a mobile repair, problem being I am near Newcastle upon Tyne so I realise someone would probably have to travel a long way but thats ok as it saves me having to tow it for hours taking time off work and fuel @ 15mpg.

Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks Mike

Humber Inflatables are not a long way from you, certainly a hell of a lot closer than me! Perhaps give them a call and see if they can help.

Services from Humber Inflatables include inflatable boat accessories, inflatable boats for sale and rib repairs and restoration services

Cheers

U tried asking trident?
(Boat, Dinghy, Yacht And Sailing Chandlery - Trident UK)

They certainly supply some SIBs and are Honda Dealers etc. They do insurance work on dinghies so I'd be surprised if they couldn't fix it... They may not do mobile but I guess they are local enough to not be such a headache?
