Did it plane? RickUK3 got an airfloor 2.3m sib to plane with my 2hp Suzuki on. I was stunned.

I had a zodiac 270 rib with a suzuki 2.2 on it that just about planed, was so much fun in a sea when you could surf it.

It did, but only with me in. It's close, as soon as you turn it drops off.

Just proper cheap fun and great to pootle up the river. I throw (well lift) it on my car roof on my own, just. I prefer the RIB to the SIBs when on the water.

Bought the lot for £400 from searider on here. Engine has started 1st time every time, proper simple old school boating.

(You can pull my post part now. )

think you are supposed to, but dont think my mate has bothered last couple os seasons, don't think they patrol it too much, good day out though

jeff keeps on suggesting a trip up the Dee from West Kirby, the tides would need to be right, but you can get over the weir in Chester and upto the boat house pub for a pint.............maybe a good autumn or spring cruise
