Med RIB Charter

Does anyone know a reputable charter company in St Tropez area who would hire a rib out for a day or two?

No never did - were looking for a day on 3rd October. Checking with a few of the yachties though - there may be a tender spare! Thanks

Re:

Marine services who are located just outside St Tropez rent Stylmer ribs for a reasonable price. For a 6.40 Stylmer with a 150hp Yamaha it was about 300 euros for the day. Alternatively in Port Grimaud there is Nautic Location who rent Bomard's and Valiant's from 5.2m to 6.4m and then Madraco of Port Cogolin who rent Lomacs.

Don't know if thats any help.

Regards,

Alex

You need to phone 'em for sure.

I tried to charter a couple of Jet skis from La Baule and was denied due to the fact that I could not produce a French boat licence (whatever they call it in France I do not know).

So I sat in the bar instead...

They should accept another EU member states' quals. to hire a French boat/ski as the authorities are happy with that arrangement. I always think that you just have to keep asking!
