Will register in Finland, thats not an issue. Will receive from the authorities written instructions about the programing of the unit, and correct programing will lead to a unique 15 digit hex code. It does not matter from where the unit is purchased( same procedure) as long as its programmed as per instructions.

Question is, can I receive the unit programmed(providing sending the instructions by the authorities)?

This is at the bottom of page at the Fastfind website.

'If you are buying your Fast Find second hand, which was previously coded to a different country and different owner you will need to contact the manufacturers: sales@mcmurdo.co.uk who will direct you to a dealer to re-code it for the country that you are resident in.'

Sounds like C-NUMB needs to get a serial number from his local authority before ordering.

Just a thought but I dont suppose Alderney Marine could advise the cost of the McMurdo Dive Canister to suit the Fasfind. I just as well reduce my chances of being yet another lost diver !

If it is toomuch hassle or complicates things then no worries.

Many thanks

McMurdo do not do their own dive canister yet for this product, but these guys do:
