matt impression hypalon

does matt impression hypalon need the surface keying to take to glue? or does the matt surface provide a good enough surface to glue to? ie could you clean it with toluene and then apply glue to it

If it was me I'd still sand it as normal.

thanks for the help, paul could you pm me a price for glue activator and thinners, enough to fit a set of tubes, i think the glue i have is too close to its use by date, july 2010,
