Maiden voyage :)

Successful maiden voyage in my Ballistic 550 on Sunday. Out from Sandy Beach, across to Holyhead for a marina pootle and ice cream, then a brisk run out to the Skerries for a leisurely lunch in the lagoon watching the terns, puffins and seals.

Boat ran smoothly and rode well with four adults and an almost-11 year old aboard.

Few minor niggles to work out, but nothing major.

Very pleased overall, and roll on the summer for more of the same!

Excellent, I grew up on Anglesey and have font memories of going out to the Skerries on the (new at the time) Holyhead lifeboat while they did training exercises.

We need pictures though to go with your outing...

I don't beleive that's Anglesey at all, look at the sky, it's never like that

Ha ha, I know! Should have seen it the day after as I was driving home - flat as a pancake and similarly blue skies. Was like the Med!
