Magnum Opus; er well a manual of sorts

I've been putting together a very basic manual that is somewhere between the owners handbook and the workshop manual for maintenance for Boats used by divers that are towed on trailers.

Currently its about 50 pages and about 3 megabytes in pdf format it covers some of the basics. I would like to develop it further with the intention of it being free to download from our club website.

At the mopment we are in the process of re photographing all the images scanned in and redrawing the drawings used. Bizarely though contacted none of the publishing houses even got back to us to grant or deny use of images.

What would now be useful is a technical proof reader or people just saying have you included? We do not intend it to be a hardcore technical work but a guide on maintenance for boathandlers, we are a BSAC branch.

If it would be useful I will attach it when the photos are done but dont want to do this yet due to copyright issues.

Cheers JW,

The original idea came about after I went on a BSAC course that had no prepared notes (officially) they did have notes prepared by the instructors however the normal form is for a info pack from HQ, upon enquiry to HQ there wernt any as no one had ever done any, so off I went.

Once the shots are in I'll send it to you if the 3Mb size is ok. Once on our website the idea is it can be periodically updated and used by anyone who finds it relevant, bit of an old hippy at heart!
