Lying FLEABay SR4 Seller.

avon searider rib 4 metre | eBay

This boat was bought from Penryn last month. It is an utter sack, nothing is salvageable. The current seller is lying through his teeth about every detail.

Ping him a few Qs and chuckle at his answers, if you can be bothered.

Hi, is this the rib that was previously advertised in Penryn? Thanks

no mate I got it 3months ago but have moved hse and it needs alot of work so got no time to do the rib

OK, cheers. So this one wasn't ever in Penryn, Cornwall?

no mate,

After sending him the link of the previous sale with same pics of it in a yard in Penryn......

it came from falmouth mate sorry dont no cornwall that well

Not too good on dates either? You won it on the 1st of Aug, that's just over a month ago, not "3 months ago". What are the tubes like?

the tubes just need a good clean and the hull needs a good sand down and paint I picked it up and have not done anything to it have not got the time

OK Mate, I saw it before you bought it, it's a worthless wreck. The tubes have been eaten by the sun and are worn through to the fabric. There's nothing worth saving. You need to start being truthful, otherwise you're going to have one very upset buyer on your hands, Cheers

it not that bad not no what your on about

Looks like he's bumping the binding as well, look at the bids. The first 4 or 5 bids are from the same person, why would you bid against yourself,

The smart thing to have done, would've been to reject it when he went to collect, it was inaccurately described when he bought it . It really is hanging!

I buy loads of stuff on ebay and most sellers are reasonably accurate with their descriptions. Obviously this blokes not one of them !!!
If you turned up to collect it & it's a pile of scrap don't pay !! I usually ask for more photos if there's any doubt.
