Lucky escape on Hayle Bar

Lucky escape for 3 fishermen returning across Hayle Bar, its bloody dangerous across there when there is a swell running.

Lucky to be alive by the sound of it.

Didn't like the comment much about the bloke who helped rescue them

"The rescuer should obviously be praised for his bravery, but it should also be borne in mind that many would-be rescuers become victims themselves around our shores every year.”

Whilst this is true a little bit more credit should have been given to him!!!

Is this the place they are on about???

The Bar is further out past that photo, looking at this photo its just past the headland in the distance, good for wave jumping

And these are the channel markers

Yeah, but she was 4'11"!! Luckily, she was a heavy sweater which enabled me to slip out from underneath!
