19k for a 5mtr seems a little on the high side
I agree with the comment above re the collars not touching the water when stationery, seems like it will be rather rocky

,
less friction when on the move, more economy, softer landings when in a choppy seas and tighter handling ,also with two people in or a slightly heavier motor the tubes do touch and give you that extra stability, but raise clear when under way, I have generally noticed most other performance ribs also sit the same way.

I once went out in a V----t 5.7mtr where the tubes were low in the water for stability and the ride was spine shattering in slightly heavier conditions which i didnt see the point of.

My console is certainly more aft, which helps, TBH I was expecting the above, but some decent weight in the bow, and I was truly surprised. All my previous boats had deeper V's, so I was expecting the worst, but however it must be I have mine set, the ride is excellent. I agree though the turn in is not as good due to large tubes that also go well aft of the transom, but the upside of that, is that she launches in very little water

superb!! of course with your set up you got sh-t loads of space, as you so rightly say you draw a very small mount of water to keep her afloat and you can hang a heavier engine,(more choice)so its horses for courses really !!
