Looking for the next RIB (Opinions)

Well, I was thinking about a ski for the summer but came across these two in Hamble today and cuoldn't help but have a look..

If anyone's had any experience with either of these boats both reccomendations and things to look out for would be appreciated!

Of course the boats differ in terms of equipment/age etc.. I'm more looking for the opinions of those who have owned either of these previously.

1. 2005 Zodiac Pro w/ 115hp Yam outboard. Ex RYA, 127hrs. LOA:5" Beam:2" = 15,000

2. 2000 Humber Assault w/ Brand new (single use) 115hp Mercury outboard. Family boat. LOA: 5" Beam: approx 2" = 12,000

Any thoughts would be great.. Thanks!

I think you may find they're both a touch on the small side. A jetski would be far more spacious.

OK I have a vested interest but its a lot of boat for comparable money.

All I can say is, have a look around a bit. Look on B&O and the for sale section here to see what is good value and what's not. It's a buyers market, but you've left it a little late to be catching yourself a bargain. If you can hold off, might be better to wait untill the end of the year.

What's your budget? You could kit yourself out with a basic New Hull and Tubes and a secondhand motor for less than £20K with a bit of knowledge.
