Looking for Avon

Hey lads im looking hard for an Avon SR6 Hull the rest of the boat can be in any state really, with /without tubes, with/without engines or trailer not fussed really guys oh and it can be located anywhere ill sort transportation. PATCHES NEEDS A FRIEND !!!

I've yet to see an SR6 for sale? Loads of 5.4's though!

any idea why they are so rare ? the one i got was up for sale for about 6-8 months before i looked at it ! anyone on here have one would like to c pics. like in my opinion dey are a great boat. any opinions out there ?

The MOD used the 5.4's which is why they're so popular.
Not sure why you don't see many SR6's?

Had occasion to deal with avon during the week in the course of my work & as an aside I asked about SR prices new.
A SR5.4 is circa £8,500 ex Vat, a SR 6 is circa £20,500 ex VAT !

Hey, im actually in search of a searider hull too!! anyone know where you can find a sr5.4 hull with tubes off or in bad condition, I saw a place that where selling ex MOD sr5.4s on boatsandoutboards but cant find them anymore, I can remember the boats being very cheap maybe around £800 I can get new Avon tubes here for a good price so im in search for a hull... any ideas??

There is a guy in Cork who has one I think. Look at donedeal.ie & search for Searider, he certainly has SR5.4 parts & im quite sure he has a hull too, spoke to him recently about a SR console cover.

Ya I was talking to him too, he still has the tubes but sold the hull, was talking to him last week about it, i think he has loads of bits and pieces! It was a project that he never finished...
