Hi Aran,

You have got a fantastic boat there ! I used to own it ! (Assuming that is a picture of your boat and not just one you downloaded !)
I saw it for sale a couple of months ago, guess you have only bought it recently.
I really loved it , it definately punches way above its size for ride and general sea handling. Only got rid of because of a young family (about five years ago) however now have my own slightly larger Ribcraft.
. I regreted selling it for a long time afterwards !
Hope you have a great time with her!

I would certainly agree, the 545 is one hell of a hull, and does punch way above its weight![Unlike 'Awfuly Harrison'!!] I have a much larger consul on mine,so have never realy felt the need for a screen.Another option for you is getting hold of 'Nugent',although there are obviously a few logistical hurdles to overcome, and see if he could help,he certainly made a great job of Chris's Osprey!

Aran,

Sadly I only have one picture (BIG REGRET not taking the camera out more) and it's not very good, however I will scan it later this week and try and post it here.

Just one thought....... have you tried it out much without the screen you are after ? I used it alot, including a run over to Alderney from the Solent and always found it a very dry boat with out the need to fit a screen ?

i think also that a sreen is not absolutly necessary on this "dry boat", it is only for protect my combo gps fishfinder
yesterday I was on the sea with the boat, wtih two personns 23 knots and 31 knots max
it was a real pleasure (we fish the first sea bass on this boat)
thank you for the scan of the picture if it is possible

Nice picture JP

Apparently your boat had already crossed the channel before we took it back albeit only to Alderney but it's nearly there.
