Yeah, I'll go with that!
I spoke to him recently and he is planning some serious North American cruising when the new rib is ready.

That'll be around 2007 then. It'll take him a few years, on and off, to cruise round America's. I don't blame him, what an opportunity. Looking forward to seeing some photo's of the finished article. I think he said his first trip over to Canada is in May this year.

I've just had a look at the train/tube journey. Looks like like a bit of a bore to drive from west/south/south-west. You should be able to park quite easily on a Saturday in a decent place (like Ascot or Sunningdale?) then get train to Waterloo. Then the tube looks simple to Docklands.

Hi Pepes
FYI the trains into waterloo are going to be messed up again this weekend and every weekend till March I think.
The southampton airport stn staff are saying its going to be a 2hr journey to waterloo instead of the normal hour and ten.
I'm tempted to drive and go on saturday.

Take your oilskins to Show

On the evening of Dec 23rd, the windsurfing pool being constructed at the show suffered a structural failure and 250,000 gallons leaked from the 70 x 30 metre pool. causing what was described as "some damage" The organisers say that the pool will not be ready until at least next Monday for the planned windsurfing championships. Somebody got their calculations wrong!!
