Much of it you can - only the north eastern section is the bit you can't (which makes for a longish drive up the eastern shore to the bit where you have to turn around and head south again)

JW - I nearly said that but thought I would be accused of being a pedant (which I am but would have distracted from the reality that 99% of the LLaTNP area is picturesque and not a "dumping ground".

But if we are being pedantic then you can drive around Loch Lomond it just involves a very long drive most of which is nowhere near the loch!

Thats a shocking statement I think you are winding us up Sir ! post some photo evidence to back up your post please ! like everywhere when it gets popular there might be some litter .. but not as you describe and if its as you say .. heads will roll

Thanks Hadd, yes looks nice and i like the idea of a mooring etc.

Can you PM me the details? Also what time of year do you tend to go up as I know that the weather in Scotland if it is one thing then unreliable would be the best description. Mind you so was anywhere else in GB.

Hadd, can I suggest next time you go you read the byelaws rather than just sign the form. As per the post much earlier:

(1) there is a maximum speed limit covering the whole loch on 90 kph / 56 mph / 48.6 knots
(2) there is a maximum speed limit in certain areas (including most of the shore to 150 off the shore) of 11 kph / ~7 mph / ~6 knots
