As the person who selected and purchased the Crewsaver 190N's for the crew, I went on a very good practical test result in a respected magazine. I tried on others, but the fit and comfort were the over-riding factors.
The fact that it can provide more lift than a 150N is a bonus for the crew and again the different sized front lobes provide enormous turning momentum to turn you upright in the water.
You pays your money and takes your choise, I would buy the Crewsaver again, as we have put in several years of average use, since May and they are still "as new".
I did like the spinlocks, but found them difficult to get fit right compared to the Crewsaver.

Information on Life Jackets and other information can be found in the RNLI Sea Safety CD & Booklet

The RNLI Complete Guide Booklet [here]

The RNLI Complete Guide Interactive CD [here]

or you can pick one up at most lifeboat stations and some yacht clubs. I have given out over 200 to clubs in Fife.

Spinlock deck vest

I like the spinlock deckvest similar to the crewsaver deckvest, slightly cheaper not that price should be the deciding factor when its your life and with 5 year warranty.
