Very stylish though!
Alan, yes the info from the GPS can be seen on the smartcraft right in front of the helm.

The VHF is also linked in to the GPS and Smartcraft so in the case of an emergancy, the positional information of the casualty and the course to steer / distance to go, even the fuel required against capacity can all be displayed at the helm position!

One of the problems with all of this is the sheer quantity of information available to the user, so Mercury have thought about this and you can have a number of "favourite" pages to scroll through, that way you can go straight to the page you want without having to remember which menu it's under.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and all the best for the New Year!

GTflash Replied to your PM - More pictures to follow soon, please be patient!

The CE marking is mostly done, just the high speed handling test to do and we should have our CE mark and be able to officially offer the boats for sale - prices and more photos to follow soon!

Well we didn't make Dartmouth but we did make it up the Yealm from Plymouth as far as Noss Mayo for lunch - here are some piccies! It was about Force 6 on the way back!

Picture 3 shows Kittens clever 3 way seats:

1 - Normal seating,

2 - As shown with the backrest flipped over you can sit on the top for better visability in harbours etc.

3 - In this second position it is possible to sit comfortably facing aft, either to observe a skier or for both driver and passenger to face the aft seat in harbour, clever isn't he?

Looking very good Cookie

How fast does it go mister?

On a serious note, what is the effect on sea keeping of the hard nose? Is she designed for wave piercing? If so, what are the advantages for a leisure oriented boat?

Cheers & good luck.

Ian.
