Whilst I obviously can't speak for the current owner of the rights to the P18 (Clive Jones), I would think yes, as they'd be fully aware that a 'no' could mean it getting illegally splashed anyway, and no money at all, or control over it's quality.

As for the price, again, I'd guess at mebbe 200 quid per unit sold. Not really a fortune in the scheme of things, and as Matt said, you can then use the designers good name as part of your sales pitch.

I rather doubt mind you, that any designer would want their name on a hull with a hook in it (except apparently Leeway), so that would have to have been done correctly. So all in all, it would have been a better job eh.

Some people are just too greedy to see this sense tho'.

So the boat in the picture must have been a manufacturing fault then. I assume you are going to contact Hartley and make amends then?

not quite, as there is a slight taper on both side if you actuly look at the pics instead of just trying to find faults in all that i say...

If the rib in question (wich i might add the customer is more than happy with) had a fault i would more than happly replace it under warenty. but as it happens there are no problems, so the rib will not be replaced..

what do you do for a living??

just cuz it came out of a good mold don't mean anything, thare is still plenty to mess it up, like over kickin the glass, pullin it to early, and so on.
not sayin that is the case hear, but just cuz the mold is nice don't mean thats how the hulls guna be, it is however a better bet than a crapy mold.
