I would have thought a sale was a sale but you never know. I suspect the price will be eyewatering though ! Great seat set up though with loads of dry storage below and behind seat backs. I hardly ever use them in the down position when helming ,,, good comfortable leaning position.
They are (were) formed with an integral thick glassed baseboard and on the cobra fixed with studs fitted into the deck. Should be easy to mount to rail fittings i would think.

Keep us in the loop as I also need a leaning post, they might give a discount for two but I expect the cost with be astronomic I also have the rail system so very interested.

I had a reply from Josh at Cobra. He was really professional in asking for console height, current seat height and internal width for my setup and then he hit me with the price.......,

2100+vat!

I've politely declined as it's far to steep for me I'm afraid.

So, back to the drawing board.

It might be worth trying Picton Boats at Bridgend,,, Dave or Huw may have some old seconds lurking in their old production facility ,, unlikely but worth a shot

How much, I have to agree they look great and very comfortable but that is just out of the park for me.

I might see what's available on the US market with the rate of exchange at the moment it might be worth looking into importing something.

Does anybody know if these: PLASTIMO FLIP UP SEAT - Seats And Pedestals - Discount Marine Chandlery and Sailing Equipment. Bargain Boat Spares and Clothing will bolt onto a flat surface?

I'm debating unbolting and removing the cushion/seat arrangement from my current seat: Bench Seat (BS15) and then bolting two of the Plastimo flip up seats on top of the box that will remain after removing the seat part.

Good idea/bad idea? Suggestions and thoughts welcome. Cheers.
