Leaking Valve.

Hi All,

Hope someone can advise.
I've found a leak on my Bombard valve.
Not from the join between the tube & valve but from the screw cap itself.
I have given it a good clean and removed, inspected and cleaned the O ring too. But the leak persists.
Is there any non setting thread sealant I could use, probably from the world of plumbing!
Or any other advice?

Thanks.

Rubber components do wear out.

I would recommend replacing the o-ring.
