While I agree with you on that wholeheartedly there's unfortunately always an exception that justifies the rules in the eyes of the authorities.

What a great time I had NOT !

Well I have now laid up the hull.
I was dreading it but it has not been to bad to do.

Sticky mess all over the floor 3 pairs of trousers 4 jumpers and countless pairs of laytex gloves.. 2 pairs of Shoes And a set of totally useless paper overalls.

Glass fiber strands everywhere I look And I guess some places I have not yet looked in.

I started with Chopped strand mat and then woven roven. set in alternate layers and finished with Chopped strand matt all 600 grm weight..

One of the pictures shows the bottom half of the hard nose /Deck

I think it is safe to say I will not be doing another one.But glad I did this one.

You can get combi mat which combines chopped and woven - saves a lot of time!

Is this the stuff? How many layers would you need to get the same effect of CSM WR CSM?

Er, have I missed something? what mould are you using, or shouldn't I ask?
Good luck with the project; not sure whether I envy you or not
