Launching sites in Kent

I'm in Gravesend, Kent, new to launch and recovery etc... always used boats already in the water!

Just done the refit on the rib I bought this year and so will be looking for places for 2018 to use it.

Where are there some good (straightforward) launch and recovery sites? I know of Herne Bay which is on my list already?

I also play in the Solent so any sites down there worth a trip to, please let me know.

Cheers in advance.

Ian

Gillingham Pier gives you access to the Medway and if you wish the North Kent coast, I would estimate 2 hours either side of high water for launch and retrieve. No matter if the conditions are bad because the Medway is quite sheltered except with North easterly's.Fee is £15 if they are about and the trailer should be safe there. PM if you want any info on the Swale. Regards Jim
