Launching near Bude / Tintagel

I have sold my 5.8m Chinook and will be delivering her to new owners in North Cornwall on Saturday :-)

I'd like to have a quick look at the coastline while I'm there and wondering where to launch. (I've offered to take the new owners out for a demo).

I notice that the wind speed might be a 10-15mph southwesterly.

Any recommendations for cheap launching and good scenice areas would be appreciated as I don't know this coastline. I have a 4wd estate car and good gps / sounder.

Many thanks

PS Already tried boatlaunch website but found it a little inconclusive for this area.

Bude is not a very good place to launch, very tidal and not a very good slip. Plus usually some mega surf to get over too!
