Does anyone know of any decent slipways at or close to this location?

Hi mate no slips on Carlyon Bay itself, nearest (for a rib) would be at Par docks (need club membership, pm me if you want details) public slip would be at Fowey, Golant or Penmarlam.

Hi Kernow,
Thanks for the reply,
Out of Fowey, Golant or Penmarlam which is the most user friendly, i.e. launching access, vehicle, trailer parking, and are they all state of tide for launching?

Fowey just about all states of tide, Kernow will give you more info when he gets up (bit early for him)

Yep Fowey, slip goes to a hard at low tide, parking can be difficult in high season. You can pay to keep her afloat on the pontoon at Penmarlam and the facilities there are good, its a slightly longer drive though. Nice of Randski to answer, must have run out of polish

Can you launch from here if you're not staying on the Caravan Park? Does the slipway launch at all tide states?

Yes and yes.

It's quite a bit shorter drive to Penmarlam than Fowey too if you're coming from Staffs and you won't have to tow down the single track bit by the ferry. Slipway is steep though.
