Launcheing in Porthpean

Evening all, bit of a nooby question, but I am staying in Porthpean and have the SIB in the boot. I went to Porthpean earlier and there is a conrwall council sign saying no engines over 10hp - I have an 8hp, so fine there, but another saying no personal watercraft - does this mean I can't launch from there? confused.com! The sea is so calm today and the sun is out - I have spent weeks re-glueing the transom, floor etc and I'm dying to go out and play!

"Personal water craft" means jet-ski.

There must be a better name for them. "JetSki" is a trademark, and personal water craft could mean any number of things...

Edit: oops, beaten to it!
