Great shot Billy!

Same as that here - boats washed and stored. List of jobs to do over the winter getting longer. Plans for the next season to be laid. The Indian Summer is to break tomorrow and I think that's us done.

How are you liking the new Merc? How's performance?

Yes my list is growing to. It has been difficult this year because of the unsettled wx. We only managed a small number of short cruises but so far it's night and day from the old Mariner it's so responsive consumption figs are fine but can only get better with longer days ERR 2016 will probably be the first opportunity for that.
Well just to close up caravan and back to winter duties.

The wx the last few weeks has been good for sure.

Looking forward to err 2016 too...although puffin is off the cards

If you start getting withdrawl symptoms, I would recomend wearing a Hypalon patch on your arm - just to keep the cravings away!

That sounds promising! I generally stand out in the rain and try to keep warm over a wee fire made of €20 notes. Some would say that my technique fails to live up to the joys of boating, but I refuse to burn €50s for mere realism....

In a moment of sheer lunacy I booked a PB2 course at the boat show for me & the missus..........for December 21/22 😳 at Southampton. That should keep the withdrawal away until at least April & remind us why we don't boat in winter😁

I had a great time out on saturday me 14st, my brother 14+st, my nephew 12st in a 3m rib and a 9.8 twatsu from pensarn to llandullas at 8-10 mph on the gps with my nephew hanging over the front because I tolod him we would go faster, my brother tucked behind him to keep dry and me bailing water down his back telling him it was the waves comeing over the front lol (it was like glass) had some great mackrel for dinner and the best day this year just a warning to anyone who goes near llandullas-pensarn there are nets out with milk cartons for floats and very hard to see, a rib that passed in front of us was very lucky, or he knew they were there.

Poly, that's the only compliment you've ever given me. Unfortunately try 30 years!
Despite Jambo's debonair good looks I think we can all agree that the most beautiful thing in this picture is the new Mercury 150 engine. Curves in all the right places and far more responsive than your average spouse. From the 180 minutes or so I've spent on the boat this year I can tell she's a catch. I sometimes hear Jambo whispering to her when we leave the mooring.

Recovery was the horrific chore it always was. It started poorly, petered out in the middle and the less said about the end the better. I've had Jambo on suicide watch after I blunted the winch teeth and sheared the lock off.
